Overview:

The Gods, whatever they truly are, sleeping, dead, removed, malevolent or altruistic, or even non-existent, are seen with a multitude of interpretations, prioritisation and reverence depending on culture, social standing or even momentary needs.
The Most common interpretations in the present day are the “Hierarchy-Model” and the “Aspect-Model”.

Hierarchy-Model:

  • All Gods exist as individuals
  • Mayor Gods rule over Minor Gods
  • Minor Gods take responsibility over parts of the domain of their superiors

Aspect-Model:

  • Only The One exists as an individual
  • All other “gods” are mere aspects, no individuals themselfes
  • Some, most prominently The imperial Urashalyr, interpret The Trinity as the truly existing triage of Gods where other proponents view them as primary aspects of The One

In times before, despite their waning relevance today, the now so called “Minor Gods” where actually the primary gods worshipped.
Scrolls, paintings and engravements tell us, that in ancient times, as far back as the Convergence and before the rise of the Younger Races show almost exclusively widespread worship of The Nine, The Eighteen and The Many.
The vast majority of deities are neither purely “good”, nor “evil”. The only exceptions to this might be The Bound One and The Garcious Reflection respectively, and even their true motives, agendas and intentions might prove more nuanced then immediately obvious.
In general, all religions, faiths, cults and niche believes have temples, holidays and ideals the life by. It is a common superstition among the common folk though, that if one ever has to choose between worship and fear, they would be wise to choose fear.
Lastly, although primarily of scholarly interest and not on the minds of many of even the most zealous folk, the Gods we worship today are the young ones on a cosmic scale, the ones which wrestled control over reality from the primordials at the beginning of time.
